My academic background includes a M.S. in Family and Developmental Studies, complemented by certifications in health, life, and transformational coaching. Beyond my role as a senior college instructor, I’m celebrating 20 years of marriage and raising two teenage sons (plus one enthusiastic three-year-old dog).
My passion for maternal wellness isn’t just professional, it’s deeply personal. In 2012, my health deteriorated significantly, leading to a 12-year journey of healing and transformation. The critical revelation? My health suffered because I consistently prioritized everyone else’s needs above my own. I rarely asked for support and held myself to impossible standards of perfection.
This wake-up call transformed me into a vibrant, healthier version of myself. It sparked my mission to help mothers achieve sustainable balance. Today, I simplify rigorous research into practical strategies in four key areas. These areas include maternal wellness, managing motherhood’s mental load, nutrition and healthy home environments.
